Centerline Drivers Recognized as NPTC All-Star Drivers at 2026 Safety Conference

Recognizing exceptional drivers means celebrating the professionalism, dedication and commitment to safety to keep our roads and communities moving.

At the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) National Safety Conference in Orlando, FL, three Centerline drivers were honored as 2026 National All-Star Drivers.

The National Driver All-Star Awards are presented annually by NPTC to private fleet truck drivers who have demonstrated high performance standards based on customer service, safety, adherence to company standards, regulatory compliance and community service.

With safety at the heart of what we do at Centerline, we’re proud to celebrate Jorge Pavon, Leroy Bryant and Kenneth Scott for this well-deserved recognition.

Here’s more about what makes each of these drivers an all-star:

Jorge Pavon

Jorge takes pride in going above and beyond to provide exceptional service to customers. He stays flexible to meet changing customer needs, maintains clear communication with Customer Service and takes extra care to ensure deliveries are accurate, safe and on time.

His commitment extends beyond his regular driving responsibilities. As a Lead Driver, Jorge supports the training and development of new drivers, helping them build skills in areas including reefer operations, lift gates, pallet jacks and close-quarter maneuvering. He also conducts safety audits, participates in safety training and works with management to improve the driver orientation program.

Jorge has also supported the rollout of the delivery tablet program by helping train store receivers and has partnered with maintenance to assist with basic repairs that support DOT compliance.

His focus on safety and teamwork has made a measurable impact. Since stepping into his Lead Driver role, Jorge has seen stronger safety awareness across the fleet and improvements in overall CSA scores.

Leroy Bryant

Leroy’s dedication to professional driving is rooted in both his commitment to safety and his commitment to his family.

A Maryland native, Leroy graduated from Fairmount Hill Vo-Tech in Baltimore in 1983 before beginning his military career with the Army National Guard. He later served on active duty and is an Iraqi War Veteran. Leroy returned to the National Guard in 1993 and continued serving until his retirement as an E4 in 2011.

Today, Leroy continues to call Baltimore home, where he lives with his life partner of 23 years. Together, they have seven adult children.

For Leroy, safety and compliance are central to doing his job well. He approaches every day with the goal of driving safely, doing his best and making it home to his family.

“I show up every day, and drive safely because I enjoy my job and the people that I meet/work with each day,” Leroy says. “Safety and Compliance are always a factor because I want to do a good job. Things happen every day, but I will continue to do my job to the best of my ability to make it home safely to my family.”

Kenneth Scott

For Kenneth, professional driving is more than a job. It’s a career he has built a passion around.

His commitment to the industry has provided a foundation for continued career and personal growth. He values the independence that comes with the profession as well as the face-to-face interactions that are an important part of the business.

Kenneth also takes pride in the precision required to operate a tractor-trailer safely and effectively. For him, that attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right provide a sense of accomplishment every day.

Celebrating Our All-Star Drivers

Jorge, Leroy and Kenneth represent the professionalism, safety focus and dedication that define an all-star driver.

We’re proud to see them recognized alongside the industry’s top private fleet drivers and grateful for the commitment they bring to their work every day.

Congratulations and thank you for representing Centerline with professionalism, care and a commitment to safety.
