Centerline Drivers Names Bernard Shaw as the 2024 Driver of the Year

At Centerline Drivers, we know truck drivers are the driving force behind this industry, keeping it moving forward every day. Through our Respect the Drive program, we proudly celebrate and recognize the incredible dedication and hard work of drivers across the country.
We are thrilled to announce Bernard Shaw as Centerline’s 2024 Driver of the Year.
Alongside Shaw, we are also celebrating two outstanding drivers who have gone above and beyond in their roles—making a notable impact through their contributions and commitment. Here’s what makes our drivers stand out:
Bernard Shaw—He is a mobile driver in Arkansas who has become a Safety Instructor/Lead Driver for all new drivers, ensuring they receive the necessary training and guidance needed to succeed. He has played an essential role in supporting multiple Standard Logistics start-ups and illustrated his expertise and leadership skills. Per James Mosley, Standard Logistics
“We could not operate and open new locations without him. Bernard has played a crucial role in recruiting drivers for remote locations and road-testing all new drivers at these sites. He’s always hands-on, especially in smaller, remote towns and has an incredible unique ability to connect with drivers, encouraging them to join our team.”
Bernard has made a lasting impact at Standard Logistics, embodying the culture of continuous improvement. A natural leader, he goes above and beyond to support drivers, making them feel valued and part of the team. Always motivated and ready to help, his dedication has not gone unnoticed. As John Robbins, Senior Director at Standard Logistics, said it best: “When we think about the culture of our drivers within our organization—one of them is that we make things better every day, and that’s what I see from Bernard. I see a motivated individual that is always here to help.”
John Trahan, Vice President of DMS at Centerline adds: “Whether as a mobile or DMS driver, Bernard has made an incredibly positive difference. Everyone – the management team, the drivers, the plant teams, and internal Centerline team love Bernard. The mobile driver team was rooting for him to win this award! We’re truly grateful for Bernard and his service to his country and Standard Logistics.”
Bernard’s own words reflect that same gratitude and dedication, “Thank you for the honor of winning Driver of the Year. Starting from a mobile position and moving to DMS, I couldn’t be happier for the opportunity working for Standard and Centerline.”
Kevin Seybold—Kevin has been with Centerline since 2016 starting in local positions, before becoming a key member of the Mobile team in 2017. He works a dual role on both Flex and Mobile, offering a diverse range of experiences. Throughout his time with Centerline, Kevin has served over 18 different clients, consistently demonstrating a high level of professionalism in every interaction with both clients and fellow drivers. In every role, Kevin quickly adapts and excels, requiring minimal training thanks to his extensive experience and exceptional work ethic. His dedication, versatility, and skill set truly set him apart from the average driver. Kevin is always a pleasure to work with, maintaining a courteous and cooperative attitude in all situations.
Mark Myjak—Mark has been assigned to All Metals since 2022, and they consistently praise his work ethic and reliability and fully intend to keep him until he decides to retire. Throughout his time with Centerline, Mark has maintained an impressive record of no accidents, customer complaints or attendance issues. Mark always exemplifies his kindness, remaining approachable, and willing to go the extra mile to help Centerline in any way he can. Whether it’s covering additional work if needed, or providing assistance wherever needed, Mark’s dedication and positive attitude make him a valued member of the team.
The award comes with a trophy, Respect the Drive gear and a $5000 bonus as well as recognition from both Centerline and GAF.
Kevin and Mark have earned runner-up status and will also receive trophies.
Congratulations to Bernard, Kevin and Mark on this well-deserved recognition and for embodying the qualities of outstanding drivers. And thank you for all you do for Centerline!
