Centerline is hiring local Class A truck drivers that will be assigned to one of the nation’s largest snack food distributers. From summer barbecues to family gatherings to time spent relaxing at the end of a long day, these snacks are part of some of life’s most memorable moments. We are looking for local truck drivers who have expertise in navigating the Arlington Heights area. You will excel in this role if you have experience operating 53’ Dry Vans on local route deliveries.

What you’ll do:  

• Safely operate a 53’ Dry Van
• Hauling snacks
• Must be comfortable touching freight and using a wheel dolly
• 24-hour operation, 7 days a week
• Effectively communicate with customers and the team
• Keep equipment clean and presentable
• Verify paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Complete pre-and post-trip inspections
• Schedule is Monday through Saturday
• Shift starts between 12:00 AM – 2:00 AM

Qualifications & Experience

What you’ll need: 

• 2 years of Class A driving & Multiple stop delivery experience required within the previous 36 months
• No endorsements required, but highly preferred
• No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years or no more than 1 moving violation and 1 accident in the previous 3 years
• A desire to impress the customer
• 22 years of age
