Centerline is hiring Class A Drivers that will be dedicated to our Fontana yard. We are looking for truck drivers who have expertise in navigating the area. You will excel in this role if you have experience operating multiple stop routes.

What you’ll do:

• Operate a 53′ Tanker safely
• Hauling : Roofing Shingles, Limestone, Granules, Asphalt
• Overseeing the inbound production plan, managing the team, coordination maintenance schedules with equipment, unloading, loading and available to serve as a route runner as well if needed
• Ensures compliance with work schedules and specifications and the correct reporting of activity
• Maintains communication with driver’s and the plant minimizes conflicts with area fleet supervisor
• Resolves issues with personnel to minimize conflict and improve culture
• Mentors, coaches, and provides feedback to ensure drivers are following proper safety procedures and improving on their driving habits
• Ensures all inbound equipment is functioning properly daily and when not, manage the maintenance in a timely manner
• Review and check all inbound production documents for the inbound sheet
• Ensures all invoices are being filed and saved correctly
• Encourage continuous improvement among its employees and share his/her knowledge, implement procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize downtime
• Ensuring safety, and PPE is in compliance with Standard Logistics and GAF and management is notified of any violations
• Responsible for advising area fleet supervisor on personal matters that deal with policy, safety and efficiency
• Notify supervisor in case of accident and incident as well as fill out the correct paperwork and its entirety completely
• The Schedule is Monday through Friday
• Shift start time is 6:00 AM

Qualifications & Experience

What you’ll need:

• 4 years min of Tanker driving experience
• Valid Class A License and Medical Card
• Multiple stop experience preferred
• Tanker & Hazmat Endorsement
