TLC Becomes Centerline Drivers
Temporary & Outsourced Truck Drivers 
for the Transportation Industry

Santa Ana, CA (Jan. 4, 2010)  The new Centerline Drivers, LLC, or Centerline moniker officially shifts into gear today, completing a year-long name change process from Transportation Logistics Company, LLC. Centerline recruits and employs Class A and CDL truck drivers nationwide and places them in temporary and fully-outsourced positions with some of the country’s leading vehicle fleets.

The name change was driven by the company’s desire to update and clarify its image and service offering to both truck drivers and fleet operators.  Transportation Logistics Company, or TLC, was formed more than 30 years ago and since then has grown in its product and service offering, geographic reach and number of clients and drivers served.

“Our new name, Centerline, symbolizes our solid, well-planned and focused approach to hiring and employing drivers,” said President Jill Quinn. “It also is a name that we think has meaning within the transportation industry.”

With its new name, Centerline will continue its nationwide expansion and its plans to hire hundreds of new truck drivers to serve the company’s growing client base.  “In the last year, Centerline has opened new markets in Atlanta, Baltimore and locations throughout Florida,” Quinn said. “Those expansions, combined with a revised internal structure, strengthen our ability to service clients from coast-to-coast through both our local and centralized operations.

“With the economy coming out of recession, employers are eager to grow their business but cautious about taking on the financial and employment risk of hiring drivers,” Quinn said. “Centerline offers temporary drivers on a short-term or fill-in basis. We also offer employers a fully-outsourced driver employment option through our Driver Management Service™.”
