CVSA Roadcheck 2011 is June 7-9

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) will hold its annual Roadcheck event June 7-9, 2011.

During this 72-hour event, roadside inspectors will be examining over 70,000 vehicles at more than 1,000 checkpoints on highways across North America to monitor truck compliance with safety regulations. What they find (or don't find) can affect your CSA scores.

In the 2010 Roadcheck event, CVSA found that 95.6% of drivers complied with safety regulations, the same figure as the previous year, which was a record. Overall vehicle compliance was 80%, down slightly from the year before.
