CSA Rules
Searching for more about CSA rules? Turn to Centerline’s website for all of the information you need.
Centerline is committed to increasing safety on the nation’s roads to help drivers and the traveling public, and fully supports new CSA rules, commonly called “Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010” or “CSA 2010.” This important initiative by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is designed to provide motor carriers and drivers with attention from FMCSA and state partners about their potential safety problems with an ultimate goal of achieving a greater reduction in large truck and bus crashes, injuries, and fatalities.
Under the new CSA rules, FMCSA will:
• Reach more CMV carriers earlier and more frequently;
• Improve efficiency of carrier investigations by focusing on specific unsafe behaviors, identifying causes, and requiring corrective actions;
• Hold carriers and drivers accountable for their safety performance, demanding and enforcing safe on-road performance;
• Count all safety-based roadside inspection violations, not just Out-of-Service (OOS) violations.
We will stay on top of the CSA rules so you can check back here often for easy access to updates and news.
